CRITIQUE CLUB:

Challenge: Definitely meets the challenge. The dog looks like he really does want out!

Technique: I love the tonal finish and the shadows in this shot. You might want to set your focus on the dog next time, as the sharp focus on the fence is a little distracting. (the bright light brings the eye to it, instead of to the dog)

Overall: A really great shot! I am very impressed and intrigued with the shadows and lighting. I think your focus is the only thing here that needs improving.

need some teeth. as it is the dog just looks like he's somewhat sleepy. where's your focus? work on that part.

Beautiful dog! Only caged as a pup?I would like more depth of field or the dogs face more in focus than the cage bars. Gets a 7 from me.
