| A wonderful b/w composition with lovely tones an outstanding collection of mid size boats. The figurem the fish and the snow add to the spell. Bumping up. |

| I don't know if you got a lot of comments about this not meeting the challenge. I don't really care whether it does or doesn't (considering that I see the man as your focal point); it is a stunning shot. I love the motif of the masts and the great technical work. I am impressed with the range of values and the snow. I am going to consider the mechanics being the masts and sails. Stunning work. 10 |

| Mechanics? Off theme, but nice picture. Yes, boats are mechanical, but they could not be called the subject of your image. |

| This is a nice shot, but I think I would prefer it, and it seems it would fit the challenge a little better without the guy with the fish in his hands. But what do I know? |
