This is a fabulous candid. I think the crop is a littlke too horizontal. I've tried massaging it and to my eye it works better if we crop the left so the bright hand at bottom left is cropped out. If you're not going to do that, certainly tone it down a little; that "hand" is a real eyetrap.
As an image, this works very well exactly as it is, and i am ranking it high. However, to my way of thinking "obvious" post-processing (like the extremely selective desaturation here) tends to move an image away from a "true" candid, by making it obvious that the "hand of man" was involved in the image. |
