WOW! This is just awesome, should have ribboned IMO, fantastic subject for B&W! The fog is amazing! Great shot! |

Wow, is that a strong shot. I need to learn how to impart this kind of emotion and mood to inanimate objects. :) |

I love the overbearing vibe of this shot - a real sense of scale and robust construction, as well as a powerful contrast with nature.
One small point would be the slight tilt off vertical of the central supporting column. I can't tell if it's the shape or skewed, so it looks slightly distracting. |

CRITIQUE CLUB
Challenge: Meets the challenge with the line leading to the fog, but the fog might not be a strong enough focal point.
Technique: Wonderful. I love your angle on this! It truly is gorgeous. Your perspective from underneith the bridge is interesting, and I really like the black and white finish.
Overall: A wonderful photo! Just needed a stronger focal point. |

The J curve is interesting but I think there's too much bridge! A vertical take might have been in the offering. |

WOW! What a great bridge shot this would make! ;-P
It represents the theme well and the B&W works well... it gives it a sense of mystery with the mist. Your croping is spot on! |

Interesting composition. Altough I keep saying that it is a dull image that leads to nothing it still works. The perspective of the curved concrete that bends away and frames the foliage-texture at the left looks better and better _the more time_ I spend looking at it.
I'd say that only the upper line of the conrete is the leading line, the rest is a framer and subject on its own. Very nice, not dull at all. :)
Exposure is good, detail in the shadows and no visible highlight blowouts.
The image looks oversharpend though, a lot of diagonal jaggies. I have seen it only on oversharpened images and D1x 200% blowups. :)

A very strong shot. It draws me into the fog. Exposure and tone are very good. Did you try the shot higher up - meaning have the bridge edge and the overhag be moe dominant in the right side? I think that would have added the WOW. |

From the concrete, particular into the abstract, mystical. Appealing photograph |

I've looked at this shot at least half a dozen times now, and it still has the same impact. The black and white is enormously effective, in conjunction with the slightly foggy atmosphere, in creating a very mysterious feel. Fits the challenge very well. |

This going to seem critical but... if you could have gotten a little higher so that the bottom part of the bridge was below the bottom-right corner, and possible showing a little more of the bridge out in the distance this would be awesome! But still very good. 8. |

Greetings from the Linn Cove Viaduct :) Karma, is that you? :) This photo has a nice curved 'line' for sure. The only issue I have with it is that it's not 'leading' to anything. Instead, it IS the subject of the photograph rather than being supportive of a subject or point of interest... - setzler |

My eyes are lead right to the foggy forrest. Maybe more of the forrest to look at would be better. |
