Early today, Mr. and Mrs. Philbert Eggbert were taking a leisurely stroll this sunnysideup morning when they came across a badly shattered shell. Humpty Dumpty, renowned egg of Mother Goose, apparently had fallen and received fatal injuries, leaving him scrambled across the way. The Eggberts immediately called authorities, who closed the area to the public, and began combing the area for clues. There were horseprints, but investigators could not determine if they were related to the case, since it happened in a public place known for it wonderful, picturesque horse trails. Chief investigator, Julius Eggstein, (not pictured here, but mug is available upon request), said that this is a dastardly deed, indeed, and that the residents of this peaceful town should rest easy -- the perpertrators would be found. The force is made up of dedicated and hardboiled veterans that would see the crime solved.
Two boys, walking in the park last night, reported having seen Humpty sitting atop a high wall, and said he did not appear to be fried. Anyone with any clues, please call the sheriff's office at 334-9655 (EGG-YOLK).
In other, unrelated stories, Eggs Benedict Arnold, (sound bite fades)
(yea, yea, yea, I know, it is probably one of umpteen eleven pictures of Humpty, but i have been wanting to do this shot since right after the humor challenge, adn this seemed like a good opportunity)

Very cute and creative. The "dead" egg really looks dead! The only thing I think that needs improving is the blown out hightlight of the flower and fence in the background. Maybe less harsh lighting would have helped.
hmmm...this must have taken a while to set up. ??
Very nice setup. The flowers are great and the looks on the faces are hilarious. I do see that you used neat image, I think. I can see some artifacts out lining the standing eggs. Good luck and I hope you find the diry culprit. :-)
