As interesting as this photo is I'm just not fond of it. I've never seen a photo where I thought noise could help but in this case I think it would have given an older feeling to the photo. Excellent clarity and great use of B&W and realy well done on the reflection in the mirror. Good luck and keep up the good work in 2005. |

I like this image the more I look at it. Her studied indifference, and his obvious interest make for a very entertaining story. I like images that tell me a story. And yours does that in first glance. I might move the ashtray, just because it's not really adding much to the image for me. 9 |

Very good composition and a great choice for B&W.
This needs a second (or third) look to take it in fully. ((8)) |

What a beautifully set picture, and an even better aptly titled. It's a great shot. |

I can't tell whether this was staged or fantastically well seen. Whichever it was., it is a sweet picture. Sharp in every sense of the word. |

i hope viewers take the time to look in the mirror! if this doesn't score well, it's because people just didn't have enough time to really visit the image. great work! |

Has a beautiful 1940's feel to it. I'm just amazed you were able to catch Michael Imperioli in the mirror! lol |

Love the dramatic content in this. Keep wondering if the two will meet and then what will happen. Very nice indeed. |

Exceptional moment to have captures. It's a wonder he didn't notice you with the camera. 7 |

nicely toned...very well lit..nice composition. i can really indentify with the image through his expression. my only little technical nit pick is i can see where you burned the highlights reflected in the mirror over his head. burning darkens in greyscale, so if you burn before you convert to duotone it will take on the same tones as the rest of the pic and be less obvious (that's a tiny nitpick by the way - don't mean to seem anal about it...just a thing i learned cuz i LOVE duotones, and i LOVE burning :) )

Really really really really fantastic capture. If you didn't stage this its a 25 on the ten point scale. I'm guessing there is a high probability you did stage this, so I'll have to lower your score to a ten. |
