| the tonal range from black to white is limited. almost everything is a shade of gray. a stronger contrast between black and white would help make the shot look less flat. |

| Lose the frontal flash. Can you see the glare in the eyes and teeth? Learn to shoot with flash only when it is urgently needed and you will see your scores go up and your pictures improve. Not enough contrast. |
