Hi! im a bit disappointed with this picture, it seemed good at the time, but looking on it after submission i regretted entering it as i had another shot of the same item with different lighting. I would really appreciate your comments on this one as well. heres the link

This is a bit too bright for my tastes, seems very overexposed. I can't tell where the focus is because it seems as if the whole photo is blurred. The idea, however, fits the challenge so I'm giving you a 4.

Too many blown out highlights, motion blur. Nice composition, although a hand on the grip wpuld have done well. 3.

Great idea, but the blown highlights are a distraction.

Looks like there is some pretty and interesting detail on that handle - too bad it's not in focus.

Soft focus is not what I would choose for this subject matter

good idee, bad light, bad focus.

Even though the blade carries one to the edge of the frame, the almost central position of the hilt and the strong light seem to me to make the composition too static.

seems a little overexposed, and cropped oddly at the handle

Good comp, too bad about the blowout and blur

Out of focus, poorly lit. The idea was there, but the focus isn't.

good try, but the focus should be centred on the interesting detail of the hilt
