I was on a walk in San Fran. I hope to go back some day.

I did some curves and levels on it... plus a little saturation. Also a lip of a trash can was in the lower right hand corner. I made it go away also.

Why would I want to do that, it looks like it is raining?? :-)

I like the composition. There appears to be a bit of noise, really notice it in the sky. I'm sure with your PS skills you could clean it up. I think because of the dreary feeling this has (with the rain and flat lighting) converting to B&W (with some dodging& burning) would make this image really nice.

Who am I to critique the guy that gets paid to take photos everyday, right Joel? :)

It appears that you were going for a variation of the typical Golden Gate Bridge shot, however in my mind it backfired. I think you should have concetrated on capturing this great structure has your main focal point.

Ordinarily, this would create competition between subjects (bench and bridge), but I think you overcame that with the color tying them effectively ... nice. If only the bridge could be closer :)

I'd like to see a bit more contrast. Nice subject though

I don't see anything to suggest as far as improving the photo. Subject lacks great appeal to me, score ...7...

This is definately a nice scene. Composition is strong - I like the puddle under the bench - adds a nice element. The image itself though, seems a little dull - maybe would have been better on a brighter day. Not bad, but lacks a little oomph. 6.

Great view, and bravo on the choice to use the bench, it brings me into the photo, and makes this feel like someplace I could actually go (which I know it is, I just feel like it's more real).
