of all the self portraits i have seen of yours, this tops them.

I'm a bit puzzled why this was voted so low - it's a very good shot in every respect. The solarised vibe is tasteful and the eyes look very impactful.

Perhaps people have seen enough of you!!! ; )

Dark, moody, excellent lighting and a very unusual pose/composition sets this aside from most. The eye detail grabs and holds my own eyes. Perhaps a little tighter crop may look better with just a bit off the top, just above the thumb, as the hair on top is a bit distracting in my opinion. ((7))

I hope to see you in the top ten with this unique portrait. Nice choice for b&w. Good luck!

Doesn't grab me, but I like the movement and tones here.

this is a wild image. excellent work with the focus. i love the way those eyes come piercing out of all the surrounding chaos. i hope this doesn't get overlooked in this monster challenge, and that viewers will give it time. good luck in this challenge, and in 2005, as well!

Great stuff as usual mehmet. Your self portraits are always a treat to look at. There's something about the lens you use and the processing you do that gives them a really interesting illustrated almost cartoony look that I love. 10

I really like the pose here. It's bizarre enough to be effective. 8

Very good portrait, nice lightining but could be more dramatic to enhance the tension in the pose. -8

Ah, my favorite--movement and stillness in the same shot, congrats, one of my highest this challenge.

Wow, you're building up a very distinctive style, and this is just superb. Incredible balance of detail and motion blur. Superb exposure, and PP. Very painterly.VERY creative and imaginative. 10

gorgeous photo , the lighting works excellently and the eyes are fantastic - looks like an Arcimboldo to me

I`m a big fan of your recent work which is amongst the most progressive exhibited on the site in my opinion.
The almost pencil like tones of this, combined with the effects of the light on the arms and face reminds me of a "da Vinci" anatomical drawing.
Very nice work..hope it receives the score it deserves.

You know how good this is :0) Personal taste: I would prefer a contrastier background... too close to the skintones in my opinion. ....9....

Mehmet, you are so good with greys, dark vs light and contrast! I'd say your whole portfolio is the best of 2004. :)
