 Salemander that was trapped in the pool and was willing to be photographed after the rescue. Critter held in place on a leaf with light reflecting from beneath and above.

my kids love this one. i like it, too, but wish you'd burned in the hotspots from the flash. they really detract from an otherwise fun image. love the contrast and the overall lighting. good luck in this and the coming challenges!

I love the leaf texture and the composition of this picture...the only improvement for me would be to see a little more detail or light on the salamander's head/face...

An interesting shot but I find the subject lacking and the colors pretty bland. Outstanding clarity and good DOF <7>

Interesting subject, and the leaf is terrific also, but the lighting seems a little harsh. Additionally, the sterility of the background doesn't really work with 'sally.' 5.
