This bridge is no longer used. It has been replaced by a road over the stream. The bridge now acts as a touristy site - one of the many covered bridges we are lucky enough to still have.

Greetings from the Critique Club!
This is filled with charm. It's a bit like peeking into the past when viewing one of these relics.
I see, by reading the comments, that some people are bothered by the foreground being in the way. I don't quite feel the same way. Because there is some over-growth of vegetation the picture is more realistic. Though they may be distracting a bit, they contribute to the theme of the bridge no longer being in service.
Exposure and focus are both good, with dof very good, and no over or under exposed spots. The tone, and colours are fine as well.
I'd like to have a little more water in the picture. There is a touch over on the left, but I think a tad more in view would give a better sense of place.
All in all I think you did a good job and I like this.
Regards,

Grayce

This bridge is no longer in use - the road that used to lead into the bridge is grown up with these twigs/branches so unless I chopped them down (which I didn't want to do) they're going to be in the photo. I tried it in B&W and couldn't decide which I liked best. The outtakes are here

Well, nice shot of an old bridge, but a shot head on would have done better, just too many branches in the way causing too much interference, would like to have seen some interior details.

Too bad its so busy in the foreground, minus the branches this would have been great

The bridge being closed is a nice twist.

The trees, unfortunately, take away from the image of the bridge. Instead of making it look abandoned, they just look kind of in the way.

Nice shot. Great cropping. You might want to try this in black & white. 7.

The subject of your shot, the bridge, is blocked by the branches. Is there a better angle at a different time of day to show the bridge? Oh, just cut down the twigs and be done with it. :) -Clicker-
