Did not get any tremendous scenery but did capture a natural seven out of an upstairs window. Took about three dozen shots using various f stops till I felt I had a good clean copy at that distance. Even tried some black and white to eliminate some distractions of the branches. Came back to one of the tree bough, framed shots I originally took in color. Reducing for size was the only adjustments made to the original shot.

A great idea, but it is so small in the picture, I almost missed it. A tighter crop (if possible) would have helped, I think.

Good find. The tilting trees are distracting.

That's clearly a seven. The picture is a little small, though. I know you probably haven't had much sunshine last week like everyone else, but this would have been very good with more light. Good picture.

pretty cool...i tried to find numbers in snow melt patterns also. we live in virginia and there was plenty of snow to look at...found a few but none struck me as "the one" this is pretty good.

this photo looks like it's tilting a bit to the right. I think that it could be straightened a few degrees to the left without losing the 7. I almost didn't see it through the trees, but it is obvious and clear. it's too bad that you couldn't have gotten a shot of it without the trees in the way. focus and clarity seem ok, although hard to tell on the actual subject because of the trees in the way. a good shot overall. good luck in the challenge.

Very excellent "7".Did you try to zoom in a little more on it?

Good eye!

Well seen, but a little too obscured for my taste. The picture in general is just a little too messy. The 7 is not the first thing you notice. Sorry. (5)

Nice shot. Some of the trees are a little distracting.
