| what lovely colors you've captured. i hope you are getting some good comments and suggestions, and not getting overlooked in this super-sized challenge. if you aren't getting the scores and comments you wanted, please don't take it personally; just consider it a starting point for the rest of the year. good luck with this and the challenges yet to come! |

| A little more sharpness and detail in the rose would help... But the shallow depth of field for the background is good. |

| Pretty colors. Hard to tell where the focus is since the DOF is so shallow. |

| Nice shot but very blurry. The flower wouldn't have been so blurry if the DOF wasn't so shallow but a rather nice shot. Kepp up the good work. |

| Thats certainly a pretty rose - though the focus is not quite spot on. Might also want to try saturating it or upping the contrast a little - that and/or some sharpening may make the focus seems a little clearer. |
