A truly awesome shot. I had this pegged for top-20, maybe even top-10. Excellent work. Don't let the score you received discourage you.

Classic. Looks like it was shot back in the 60s on b/w. Great composition and tone. 10. One of the best of the best.

B&W was a good choice for these "old-style" racers.

This is a very good exemple of a pan shot. I lie the B&W treatment. (7)

Very well done! The B&W is perfect. It adds to the sense of age in the old race car. The motion blur of the car in the rear contrasted to the good focus in the lead car helps to put the viewer in the driver's seat. My favourite so far.

I am old enought to remember when these beautiful machines ruled the F1 circuit, color film had already been invented and was in common usage for a shot like this one

Very good composition and a great choice for B&W.
Excellent contrast & tone with good use of panning. ((8))

Great cars, bw gives this an appropriate old school feel, the motion blur also works well.

nice enough image, but i find the motion blur and shallow dof a distraction just kidding! this is great, and i'm sure you had a blast shooting it. good luck with the challenge!

I love the angle on the cars. It sure beats straight for an image like this. I like the choice of b&w. Wish the other drivers head was in the shot but still a great image.

Good stop action shot. The racer behind accents the speed of the race. Good choice in B & W. It emphasizes the intensity of the competition.

I'm not sure the title suits this photo because I really don't understand it. Great shot and excellent motion blur. <8>

This is super cool. I think B&W was a good choice, and I like the angle. My only complaint would be how the helmet of the driver behind is chopped off a little. No big deal though.

I just love these machines. Very good work, nice angle, good dof and it really captures speed.

This looks like it could have been pulled right out of an old sports magazine, simply wonderful, every element of the photo comes together. The cars, the way the driver is dressed, the competitor in the background, the curve of the corners, the motion blur, the tone, the exposure, perfect. 10!
The only way you can see that this is not really old is the helmets. the one in the background with his fullface helmet and the main subject in the foreground with "Arai" on it. If you'd have used the background driver and his helmet as the main subject it wouldn't have had the same impact.

My feeling says: Cooper?
