The affect here is and old trick i got from a firend.

in stead of a blur i placed a cotton swab on the lense and exhale on the lense (the same way u see ppl. clean their glasses)

then remove the cotton from thr center take the pic. and there u go the subject is in focus and the backround soft and blurred without ever having applied a filter to the image.

(it also waork great for wedding photogs. u can cut out a hart shape and breath on the lense around it the fram the couple around the time of the kiss and it makes a really sappy image that can also be made in PS)

other than that the set was simple and THIS IS MY FRIST SHOT WITH THE D70!!!!!!!!
