Danny
Congratulations
I like the overall feel you created with the dark tones and the Notre Dame Cathedral in the background. It has a real mysterious and somewhat eerie feel to it. |

I have 2 favorites in this challenge -- and this is one of them. That's the good news -- the bad news is my taste usually runs counter to the rest of DPC. I surely hope this one wins a ribbon, though. It is a wonderful photograph. You don't need to see the man's face to feel the reality of his life. Good luck! 10 |

There is a feeling of "humanity" in this photo! Although the church is very "busy" you get a sense of peace and quiet |

Okay, this is one of my top shots of this challenge. The story portrayed here is great and the technicality, superb. It is nearly pinsharp throughout the entire image and the composition is spot-on. There is great detail and interesting elements in both the foreground and the background, so this is a shot that someone could look at for a very long time. As far as any help I could offer, I would start by rotating this about 2 degrees to the left so that it is a little more straightened out. Although I personally like it how it is, some may prefer a horizontal flip as it is easier on most people's eyes to "read" an image from the left going to the right. Either way, we are all humbled in your brilliance, and keep up the good work --- keep inspiring! |

If we are forced to show someone's back there should be an interesting scene to look at, a contrast, or a story to be told. You have done it well here. Good job. |

Nice contrast, with the building in the background. |
