Composition-Content
This is a lovely picture, a really pretty scene. Perhaps the Natural Numbers are not as obvious as others, but as the picture stands, it is great!
Technical
DOF is perfect, great sharpness on the petals and a very attractive blurred background. The flowers really jump out! Lighting also enhances this effect, with the light falling on the petals and creating beautiful colours and contrast. The border complements the picture and colours very well.
My Opinion
This is a lovely shot, I think that the Natural Number element probably wasn't strong enough for most voters, but this was a very hard challenge and I think that you did a great job! |

| aww. cute littly 8's too. very pretty flowers. the background is nicely blurred and not distracting at all. your focus and clarity are excelent. lighting, for the most part was quite cooperative. only a few minor spots where it looks a little bright on the petals. nothing serious however. great angle and framing/cropping. not only do the petals form little 8's, the 2 round bundles of flowers also form an angled 8. very nice find. good luck in the challenge. |

| This is so pretty, but they don't seem close enough to really make an 8. Don't get me wrong- your angle and the quality is superb, and I think it's absolutely stunning. |

| I think so many of us were so involved searching for numerical shapes that we missed the very simple aspect of counting...this is a lovely gardeners stock photo. |
