 The old Brogan came from my grandmothers "old homeplace" and was my great grandfathers shoe, it has had several soles nailed to the bottom of it and is very worn. The background is a pair of my kids shoes, one of many pair, this was probably my great grandfathers only pair...

Love the contrast of the dull browns on the old to the bright white and red on the new. I also love the lines created between the old shoe and the red shoelaces. 9
