That's a great shot, Arie! Love the strong contrast and the way it looks desaturated. I wish there was some eyeball space to his right as he feels slightly confined within the frame and borderline too centered. Maybe there was extra stuff that was too distracting on that side (his right). Great job, otherwise! |

One of the best candids i've seen in a while. 10
I love the lights and shadows, the photo has very rich contrasts. |

A bit too centered. I like the subject though, and the light exposure. |

Looks like a very good candid shot. Lighting is nice along with contrast. At first glance i thought is was a b&w until I saw the subtle skin tones and the drapes behind the subject. Good capture |

Great capture. It almost looks like your subject is dancing with his broom. 10 |

good candid capture for a light challenge. Gives so much depth to an otherwise ordinary scene. guess thats what its all about. Wonderful photo IMO |

I like the exposure here but I am not too sure about the composition. I can imagine the same light and exposure with a horizontal composition with the guy at the very edge of the frame. Something like that - something different and more dramatic. |

Good shot. If you converted it to b/w I think it would look better in color. |

Nice color treatment and very cool action candid. I'd like to see a little less shadow on the left, though - but maybe the darker shadows is the way you intended it to be. |

The title of this image really sets a great tone for interpreting the image. The light really does make the mundane task look almost peaceful and joyful. I love the way that the main subject, the man, is on the dividing line between dark and light. The muted colours add to the "delicacy" of the image and the light catching the broom handle all the way along strengthens the composition so much. Beautiful. |
