O.K....the background on this photo and stuff is a lot more interesting than the photo. And if any of you have ever worked in advertising you know this is more the rule than the exception
:-)
I have a female friend in Baltimore who runs a strip club. The strip club owners face is in the bottle. Her eyes are stunning and I took a photo of her, pasted it to the back of the bottle and really hard lit the side of the bottle to get the photo to be clear enough. I used the tie to obscure the eye a bit with reflections and curves that followed the face in the bottle...an old trick.
The "ear" rings are actually nipple rings, and the black background is a a velvet mini-dress used by one of the "working" girls..
The aftershave was a gift from about 10 years ago ( I don't even wear aftershave ) and I had to put some water in it becasue it was so old the fragrance has started to evaporate. If you look real careful you can see the water and the alcohol fighting each other to mix.
When I worked in the graphics art department at Va Tech we used to hide all kinds of stuff in ad's. I was actually surprised no one else did any "sublimanal" stuff because subliminal messages are in so many national ad's. |

I don't think I would use this aftershave if I were you. There seems to be an eyeball in it.

| I really like the warm tones here, and I finally found the #$%& eye after reading a hint in the forums. Pretty subtle - could be a fold in the necktie, and I'm not sure what subliminal effect an eye would have. Now a jellybean, on the other hand... The one thing that bugs me a little is the combination of the tie, aftershave and... earrings? I guess it's the old married couple's dresser, but it could also be interpreted as a very bad fashion decision. Also not wild about the lable on the bottle being turned quite so far right. Probably better if the whole thing were legible. All in all, and with a bonus for the reflection, a very nice image. |

| Love the composition and soft colors. Very inviting to me. The blown highlights may hurt you, unless some think if is part of the effect? I rate this photo very high. I think you are in contention for a ribbon. Good job. |

I actually respond well to advertising photos like this one that tell a little story, even though I generally tune out ads. His tie, her earings.... well, maybe they're not naked but they're getting comfy on the couch in front of the fire :)
Very nicely lit, composed and photographed. I like it a lot :) |

| Nice setup, but the product has a cloudy look, there is a bubble in the label (kinda oof too) and the earrings are not in focus for sure. |

| Very nice colors & composition, but that reflection on the corner of the botle is a bit distracting. Diffused lighting might have helped. Still, very nice photo. |

I like this. It's a very nice shot except for the earrings and ?? in the lower left corner. If you had to have the earrings then they should of been something like jade, diamonds, pearls etc.
The bottle is very nice. |
