I feel that the left edge of the frame is a little hot, and therefore a bit distracting, but I love the concept of posing with the frame. Good Job! |

I like the composition with the frame and the sweet sepia tones .
Maybe the reflection on the left side of the frame is a bit "distracting" but I like your portrait. |

Good idea, I like just about everything about it and especially the composition but the glare/overexposure of the frame itself I find very distracting and it drags it down a notch. Keep up the good work! |

Excellent concept, Brian. The hightlights are a little blown out, and the foreground focus is soft, but still a compelling self portrait. 8 |

Nice idea. I like the whole concept of the frame. The hands on both corners and the fram form a nice diagonal line. Focus is sharp where it needs to be. Some of the lighting is a bit harsh, but not in areas where it would really be a huge problem. |

A very good portrait and very well framed. The tonal values are exceedingly good and one wishes the the tonal values would have also been applied to the frame to avoid the burn out areas. Outside of this the gaze and facial expression is just great along with the hand placement. Enough charm to receive another bump. |

A few blown areas on this shot but looking at the rest of the picture I'd guess that was deliberate? very nice variation on a portrait shot. bumping1 |

Aha! I know this face. ;) I love your composition here.. but not sure how I feel about the lack of DOF (the fuzzy frame is a little off-putting. Great expression, and I'm thinking that a slight desat of the duotone would have helped too. |
