i don't know anything about portraiture, so i'm using your image to try to figure out what i think i would or wouldn't do in this situation, as well as what i notice and get out of your image.
what a bold, beautiful image. those eyes are just killer. to me, this is what i consider a foundation-level image, one that can either stand alone as it is, or be offered up in any number of presentations. you could crop a 5x7 from your face, and have an equally stunning headshot; in fact, any number of crops could be pulled from this. excellent work with the lighting, choice of background, and focus. the expression is perfect, and the triangular composition is well-found. great job, and good luck! 8 from me. |

Nice green eyes, I might sound crazy, but did you ever notice where ever you move seems like the eyes follow you? Wish the hair was lighten a bit more, but still like you pic.

This image meets the challenge head on. It is a highly emotive character study with great general beauty from the lovely eye colors to the red hair and then the rep lips amidst the lovely freckles. The lighting is just right. Great. Bumping up. |

| Ok! Now you've done it. The song is stuck in my mind for the rest of the night! Very Kathrine Heburn-ish. But I'll bet you' ve been told that any number of times! BOL 7 Do have a personal taste comment though: I realize the background was to match your eyes (I'm thinking). But why not something softer? It appears harsh against the hair. IMHO |

| Wow! I really like this portrait .... It has everything to do with the fact that your beautiful eyes, hair & freckles remind me of the Celtic Princess I've been looking for all of my life. Your beauty has taken my breath away... I hope that my comments are not out of line ,,,, The color of the background is also a prfect complioment to you coloring! | Made me stop and look - a very nice, strong portrait. Maybe a slight rearrangement of the hair to cover the slight distraction of the background to the (viewers) right of the neck but it is so difficult when you can't see yourself! |

| This is very good, I like it! However I find the background is a little distracting even if the color of it does match the eyes. I probably would have liked to seen just hair in the background. Otherwise it is fantastic. |

| Ah rats. I can't be objective with this photo. Redheads, for me, are a great weakness, so I will just give you an 8 and go on to the next shot. I love the colors: your eyes, the lipstick, the background. It works. |
