 Must be in color? Gimme a break. That's the letter of the law, not the spirit of the law- not what the challenge is about. It's about getting your exposure right under extreme lighting conditions. Now, if you want to tell me that the edges of my flowers are too dark for this challenge, I might agree with you... ;-)

Shot in a window with a piece of scrapbooking vellum as a background, which allowed the light to come through the background as well, lighting the petals from behind.

I like the composition and I like the way you have it cropped. But, the flowers seem disappointingly dark for a "light on white" theme. Love the mottled nature of the background.

more of a black and white photo to me than a "light color" on white background as the challenge mentions.

The background seems very grey on my monitor - should be more white. Nice composition though.
