This is a macro of my wedding gown (I find any exuse I can to pull it out and play with it--can't wait 'till the big day when my fiancee sees it, plus I can wear it all day without people thinking I'm a vain weirdo).
I chose this shot from the bunch because I liked the layering of the different materials, the way part of it hills up to create a foreground, how the rows of buttons and beadowrk add some dimension, and the way the buttons under the sheer chiffon are evident.
In Photoshop, I cropped it a bit, adjusted the coloring ever so slightly, and tinkered with the brightness and contrast a smidge. I then formatted it to the proper sizes for submission, and turned it in.

The title captured me to open up the thumbnail; I'm glad I did. The satin glows a little hotly in the lower left and the unavoidable luster on the pearls is a tad too hot, too, but the composition, textures and sentiment won it a 9 from me. By the way, best wishes! ::smile::
