I didn't vote on this challenge, and I'm seeing this just now. It's simply gorgeous. If you ask me this should have finished in the top 10.

Ooooh. there are so many things right with this photo. Great lines, lighting, composition and subject. Beautiful.

Later: I'd bump up, but it's already at 10.

I like the shadows. With white on white, you use of light really makes the shot.

probably the best technical display of the spirit of this contest I've seen. Maybe a little more light on the right to lessen the shaddows just a bit more. solid 9

This is a beautiful and luminous composition but it somewhat skirts the challenge terms in that the BG is rendered as predominantly gray. nevertheless, we can call that a 'shade of white'... I am voting the ones that were able to use pure white effectively somewhat higher, but I congratulate you on a lovely composition. 8
