Strange shot, seems a little bland on the colors and a little too dark. |

Ya know, a different background/foreground (whichever it is) would have done wonders for this picture. Maybe solid black, or white, or black and white. I don't know. Currently, it is just a little drab. The trick is nice. I've seen those birds before, what how did you do that with the coins? That's neat. |

I think this is a really clever idea -- would have been "mundane" right side up (although still tricky) -- but upside down adds a great deal to it. I would have cropped it/shot it so the bird hung perfectly straight down the column of coins instead of just to the left. The focus seems a little soft on the bird and coins -- but it also looks like maybe your camera isn't quite so high end, so maybe that's the problem there. A light shining on the front of the coins to bring out detail would be nice. The colors of the picture seem to be a little green -- but that's assuming the wall at the back is white. Finally, a different background besides the wall and table would bring this up another notch and change it from isn't this cool what I balanced, to isn't this a great shot... |

that must have either been really hard or really easy. my only problems here are the tilted horizon and the poor lighting |

i admire your patience, but wish the picture was clearer. |

Impressive, but it would have been REALLY impressive if you'd paid more careful attention to lighting and post-processing. |

Very clever, but what has it got to do with being upside down?? |

Six or seven drops of SuperGlue might have saved you a couple of million attempts...looks like it was worth the trouble though. |

Wonderful feat of balance. Lame with respect to the topic. |

High grade for attempts made (3,493,394), save time/effort and cheat. Tape, wire and monofiliment are our friends. Soft focus. Photo 8 Creativity 9 Upsidedown 8 total 8 |

strong glue used! :) 'horizon' could do with being flat rather than slightly tilted. |

that's hilarious. too bad the shot is so tonally flat. needs a lot more contrast and sharpening. |

Amazing feat. I imagine the blurriness could'nt be avoided trying to catch such a shot. |

i really just don't see the point of this photo the backdrop looks awful and ruins the small amount that the photo had to offer |

Kudos for the balancing act. Cool idea, but the execution isn't very good. The table and white wall detract. |

I like the idea, but the colors are a bit lacking, and there is very little detail on the coins, but this was probably taken with a 1 or sub-megapixel camera, for which this can't be faulted. Still, I think better lighting may have helped. |

This is a neat concept. How did you manage to get this coin stack to stay steady for you? This photo needs a little bump on the contrast. Good job! |

uhm.. krazy glue ? you should have used a bit more light i think. |

wow, no wonder this took so many tries. You get extra points for tenacity. |
