 Definitely inspired by the rose on driftwood shot by Ansel Adams. Spring has arrived a little early in Oregon, and these flowers were gathered from our front yard and placed on the pine dining table I made.

Image was slightly cropped and resized.
Brightness and contrast were adjusted a little.

All edits done in The GIMP on linux.

My first ever DPC entry.
