Snapped this on the way home from work (as usual). Handheld - used the IS feature on the 17-85mm lens to steady the zoom.

Held cam steady for first moment to capture some definition, then zoomed for the remainder.

There's some amazing, pulsating under-floor lighting in the square here, which offered up the blue 'vectors'

missed this challenge, would have given this a 10. I got so excited looking at this because I always wanted to try this effect but never had a camera that could do it. I think my new one does! (of course I won't get any results nearly this good) :)

you've quite a knack for shooting after the sun sets - well done.

Very abstract. Probably will be a low finisher but I like it. Many people wont give this what it deserves.

I really hope you put some details as to how you did this in your comments. This is a great shot, I would even go as far as to say fantastic!!! I hopeit doesn't get nailed for being too artistic, because this is a ten in my book. I can't even think of anything constructive to say about ways to possibly improve it.

It's an interesting effect. I like the orange and aqua light. The zoom lines powerfully enhance the division between 'above' and 'below.'
