Outstanding shot. The colors are amazing, and the crisp lines are equally so. Nicely done.

Best "spoon" shot this week. This is so good on so many levels.

Great spoon shape and color. Nice, clear reflection and great half silouhette of the subject with a calrity to the one blue eye making the photo.

One of my 10 best this week.

the lighting makes this photo
05/16/2002 07:16:00 AM
Freaky, yet very cool.
05/16/2002 12:53:00 AM
How did you get the spoon so clean and shiny? Very nice shot.
05/15/2002 04:54:00 PM
All of the following maybe be totally useless comments -- it all depends on your objective with the shot. I think the sides of the face are under- and over- lit respectively. There's not quite enough detail on the one side because there's too much light, and on the other because there's too little. I wondered about making the head a little bigger, getting a little closer, but since I don't know how the spoon would reflect it, I can't say if that's a wise comment or not. Regardless, excelently done.

Beautiful! The reflection is so weird and alien, and everything else so simple and clear. I wouldn't be surprised if this wins :)

Cool, very nice, I like the use of a spoon as a mirror
05/15/2002 06:20:00 AM
[whoevers] eyes in that photograph are far fr far too freaky. A Job well done though.
05/14/2002 11:13:00 PM
On my monitor there'sa lot of contrast, giving the face a sort of "alien" look. Of course, if that's what you were aiming for, looks great.

The expresion on that face is excellent, so are the colors! The focus and detail make this feel so lush. Very nice!!!

Oooooh. Very nice. Excellent sharpness and clarity. Face a little closer to the spoon, perhaps? The mixed lighting shows (yellow at R, blue at L), but it's a weird enough image (IMO) that it doesn't matter. Looks like an awful haircut.

Simple and effective. An accurate interpretation of the contest theme.

This is a great image also. I noticed no camera in the backround this is why I voted on this image.

the half lit fase makes you look like either you were just stabbed by a cattle prod or you not of this earth.
I love the twist on relity a spoon gives you.

excellent. The distortion you captured along with the colors and simplicity of this shot make it a winner.. plus your eye looks quite 'psycho'
