 Made set up with clay very loosely looking more finished in the inside and the unseen side unattended. The teeth are also a white wax like clay which is more brittle. Sprayed with soapy water. Lit with three strobes and I could not get enough light to close the lens more for max dof.

Clone out to fill a little of the frame and to correct minor imperfections, levels and desat. Burn and dodge to accentuate form.

Comical and technically well done but the armamentarian is not very realistic ie. are not dental instruments, and the teeth and tongue do not look real.

I have no idea how this was done but bonus mark on this shot. Not only would it sell and it's an excellent photo in itself, but what it also does is make you have a 2nd and 3rd and so... look at it. High marks here.

Great idea! Definitively my favorite of the bunch. There is something wrong with it, though, something does not seem natural - maybe a tongue is too sharp, that's probably it. would have been a 10 otherwise. 9 for now...

Wild photo! So creative. Funny I was thinking about how this could be done the last time i was at the dentist. You accomplished it in an incredible fashion. Would like to see a tutorial for this.

Had to comment on this one...It is fascinating. I can't stop looking at it. I wouldn't want this hanging on my living room wall. But the art here is very good. Not sure it fits the challenge it's not "plain vanilla" enough for a stock photo, but kudos nonetheless.

I'm a little grossed out by the froth on the tongue and by the wierdness of its shape, texture and color. Somehow, despite the prominence and sharp focus on the eyes and tools, the tongue upstages them all, And that, for me, ruins a potentially very good photo. Just my reaction.
