 This came to my mind when I thought about time (well, this and showing a resonating guitar string and calling it 1/f ...(period of the string)). I hope voters see the relation to the challenge - the blink of an eye represents a brief period of time.

I adjusted the curves in photoshop to get the effect on the skin. The image is cropped as well. The line to the left of the iris is my contact lens.

Lastly, I hope noone says this is "out of focus". I may not have the best "eye" for these things, but to me it looks well focused.

Wide eyed! A striking image, perhaps a bit too striking, and true to the challenge. I find the colors a bit strange; but then again, I'm slightly colorblind. Nice composition with the eye lower.

seems oversaturated or something. the harsh lights reflected on the eye are a bit distracting - using a diffuser or a reflector should take it out (if you didn't intend it to be there. good idea.

There's something wrong with the areas on the fringe of the photo. The color is weird. What is that?
