We all shoot what we see, and in this crappy weather week, I didn’t get out much to see anything. So taking a page from the school of thought that pictures are made not taken; I took a marginal image I shot from my office window this afternoon and worked to see if there was a good picture hiding inside it. I doubt it, but this is what I came up with. Is it a stock photo? If the definition includes the notion of “sellable” or “mass appeal,” I doubt it. You’ll be the judge as always!

The water activity is so good that i would have opted for its full color. Nevertheless the image has a lot od excitement.

I think for stock they'd rather have it in full, vibrant color. I like the composition.

Great shot...This could represent so much, cologne, alcohol, clothing, sporting goods to name a few. Great desaturation. Good Luck.

I wonder if this is a crop of a much larger picture? The water seems a little off. I do really love how the colour of the sail jumps out at you and it's very crisp.
