CC time for you PHOTOCHlX

Fits The Challenge-Yes.....showing spring time, and of course the title tells us that also.
Composition-Okay
Background-Pretty good, maybe sitting on a picnic table or wooden bench. Neat looking aged wood.
My Opinion-Photoshicx this shot did work out well. The reason is the flowers are out of focus. (OOF) There is really only one full flower seen in the shot and that is the one that's dead center. Because it's in the center it should be in focus.
Yaaaaahee, no big deal, your set up was okay the yellow is good and it was learning experience. Enter the next one and grab yer self a ribbon!!!!! See ya! Good luck!

I don't know if you got closer than your camera can focus, because the only thing in focus appears to be the wooden background.

Could do with more DOF.

Poor focus and main flower to well centred, looks very untidy.

needs just a little bit of sharpening, I like it though

good to see a cheerful color

Great image. I really like how you focused in on one flower while the rest surrounded it. The photo looks very nice and bright as well.

I love the yellow in this photo, but the focus on your main flower is a bit soft... this is an interesting problem because it seems that the woodwork under the flower is in good sharp focus... - setzler

Out of focus, with a macro the center of attention should be pin sharp, not the background.

awesome shot... should back up some and make it more clear!

The background is a bit distracting and the center flower is out of focus, your composition is very nice, different, try this shot with a solid background.

Beautiful flower. I didn't understand why did you focused on the ground.
