Thanks Tash and everyone else who commented.
Seems a bit weird that I got 27 comments (most of which are very favourable), the pic has been selected as a favourite by 2 other users and it only scraped in over a 5 - most of the week it was below 5.
But, hey, what the heck do I know? - Onwards and (hopefully) upwards!

Sorry that all the other voters are brain dead, I think the thought was worth a 10, It was souper, Tash |

Very creative take on the challenge. The only suggestion I have is that the bowl seems a little washed out - although the soup can looks great. |

Fun shot with nice lighting. I think this shot would probably look better with a bit more DOF, but it still came out very well as is. |

Heh heh heh, a very original concept. Don't think I'd want a taste, LOL. On a technical note, I'd like to see a touch more contrast and slightly reduced exposure. |

Cool idea - funny. Wel executed. Maybe needs just a touch brighter red to carry it off perfectly, and a more shapely spoon! |

I'm not all that fond of "staged" pics, but this one is cute as far as the concept! |

I LOVE it! Where'd you get it?? Superb job, great concept. Shades of Gamow applied to biology and evolution. My favorite concept of the challenge so far! |

lol, really funny... all items seem a little out of focus and it would have been great if you could have gotten rid of the shadows, though. |

I think that this is the only image in the challenge that evoked a laugh from me. When I saw the thumbnail image I was afraid that this would be another "in the beginning of lunch" type shot. Thanks for the pleasant surprise. |

An extra point for hard work and planning - or for effective use of e-bay! |

A little more depth of field I think would have been nice. IMO I'd like to have seen the bowl a little sharper. |

Nice play on the theme. Somehow the contrast feels a little low. |
