A good subject for "Beginning" I like the colors of this shot. The background is a little busy for me. I would have tried a tighter crop to keep the focus on the horses.

Nice theme and composition - next time you may want to try a minor curves adjustment to darken the blue in the sky a bit, or use a ND filter when the photo is taken.

would have liked to see the big one's head! Maybe a tighter crop woulf have helped focus on the foal.
