Your chosen subject is pretty interesting upsidedown. I think you would've been better off cropping it tighter.

i will now shed some light...i actually like this photo compared to the direct competition you have in this category...however, the pixelation is a little too much for me

Only a couple of personal preference suggestions. It feels the tiniest bit soft, I wonder how it would look sharpened a touch. I would also have shot this so that the lamp was either closer to the top of the picture, or the bottom. (I think my preference would be the bottom.) That would give it a little more of a feel of being unbalanced.

Interesting perspective on this shot... I like the black and white as well... It seems that the light fixture focus is a little soft, but other than that, excellent job!
