| I can see the needle, just barely make out the thread. The top of the needle is in focus as is the thread and everything else is out of focus, almost no color, to me a poorly put together photograph. |

| This is a very nice macro idea, but the tonal range is a little flat for my own taste.. i think it could use a little more light on the subject and maybe a darker background to set it off... just my personal taste :) - setzler |

| I think this shot is sort of deceiving in that it obviously is focused on one end and the other end is not. but the framing makes it look like it should be in focus. I think you should've made the angle going away from the camera more obvious. I was thinking that when the top of the page loaded but when I go to the bottom, you did what I was thinking actually, just it isn't emphasized enough. almost! |

| Great closeup of the needle and thread and good composition but the lighting is a little low. |
