Thanks. I still can't figure out why my score dropped so bad. It was 6.017 a minute before the challenge ended. Weird.


Hmmm...for it to drop that fast that is kind of strange. Personally, I find the voting to be very unfair on this site.

nice barnacles. good to have them all in more or less good focus. maybe a bit too crowded for my taste, less is more. or if they were all in the same rythm. well, can't be helped with wildlife.

great choice for B+W Colour wouldnt have nearly as much impact.

poor tonal range....all B&W shots should have absolute white and absolute black in them somewhere. Scroll down and you will see a a bar that shows the tonal range.

Every bird inside the frame. The eyes are lost due to the darkness of the original or post-processing choices. Eyes say so much in a creature. Excellent study of flight. All the best.

nice capture! and the processing is tops, as well. this has such a painterly effect. i hope this doesn't get overlooked, and that viewers give it the time it needs to be appreciated. good luck!
