Thanks to everybody that left comments and voted. I didn't honestly think this would end with such a high score (picked up by most that it really didn't emphasise 'abandoned').
It was a fantastic evening when I shot, the freak passing clouds dumped a load of snow on me whilst sitting in a wind swept field. It had been a lovely day to this point, I went up there with little more than a t-shirt, then this cold front swept in!
Some other shots I managed to gat that evening....

I like the wide-aspect crop used and the timing of catching the rays.

| i believe that the wind mill is old but i can't see how old it is. but I am giving you a 9 because the photo is extremely, incredibly and greatly beautiful |

| Beautiful shot of the sunset... wish the windmill was a little more prominent tho. I like that it's sharp enough thtat you can see the struts on the vanes. |
