Critique Club here:
First impressions: I smiled :-) Setup well, focus and DOF good and very colorful, in fact this image would also fit this week's "color" challenge perfectly!
The exposure is bang on and the lighting not too harsh. Although this doesn't represent a perfect symmetry you have met the challenge.
The paper at the bottom of the image seems to have come apart a little and light is shining through, which is a little disturbing as it keeps pulling my eye downwards. Also it seems that the fruit has lost some of its freshness, maybe because you had it there for too long before you got a photo you were satisfied with.
All in all a clever idea which you can be proud of.

....thank you for entering a fruit face! I love this kind of picture! It is a sub-category that is reoccuring on dpc, and I am always delighted to see one in any challenge. This is a good one!

Nice composition, but the darker colourtones in de kiwi make it look like the fruit is a bit over-date. Pure grafically it surely is OK, the fruit and the colors give it an 'African' feel. Regards... |
