LOL. I also just got that it was not real! I am such a dork. Had I figured that out when voting, I would have definitely bumped up my score (though I still gave it a 7). Very nice job - :) |

I would just like to say thanks to all who commented on my photo. I got some real good ones. That is all right chariot. It was ment to fool ya. It took about 30 shots of the beetle in different areas of my front yard and decided to go with this because of the van in the background. I thought it would be a fun picture and didn't think it would do so well, but I was wrong. I have accompished my goal and got over 6.0. Thanks again Sonja |

You know, if you had cut the grass really, really really short on the left side, I would have been convinced that this was a real Beetle. You have done an excellent job, in my opinion, of "composing" the background to make the subject seem larger than it is. Great job. |

On first viewing, I thought this was a real car, but on subsequent I worked out that it was a toy - much like people are doing with my shot of the plane, its the grass that gives away the scale :o) Good lighting and imagination! |

When I first saw this, I thought, "Wow, someone got lucky and found a flipped car after all!" Nice little optical illusion. I think I would have tried to further that illusion by shooting it away from the grass that your flash managed to catch. The trees and other things, if far enough in the background wouldn't be an issue in terms of relative size. I'd also like to see it in daylight specifically to play off those trees and that car in the background and some other things. Maybe not possible, but I think it would be fun to try. Good work. :-) |

I love the way you turned the car upside-down. Makes for a humourous shot.. I also like the other car to the right, just slightly in the background, it proves there weren't any obvious camera tricks envolved. Did that scratch the paintwork? |

A very clever shot. The car in the background adds a touch of realism. Perhaps the shot could have been composed and cropped a little tighter to reduce the distraction of excessive sky. |

Man... that's some tall grass. I sure hope no toy people were hurt. The car and streetlight in the bg work for {fake} perspective. Actually, without the grass and sharpening you might have had me going. Nicely done. |
