An interesting shot, but it's difficult to find any meaning or subject in this photo.
But hey, maybe I'm just dumb.
maybe.
Neat concept and interesting picture, but if "he kept her there very well", how was the building abandoned?
i don't think it's an oxymoron keeping someone in an abandoned building...but thanks.
My eye is led to the extremely white part, almost making me miss the person in the back. Maybe a little levels to lessen that.
The foreground hightlights are a little blown.overexposed a bit. I would have also brought out the background a little.
I had to look hard to figure this one out. I think it could have been improved by a bit more DoF, or perhaps moving the focus more to the person, and maybe cropping a bit more of the white (or even just toning it down a notch), which I find grabs your eye and draws it out the right side of the image. That's why I missed the person until I looked the second time.
exactly my point. no levels! no cropping! no dof adjustments! this was intended to be an unsettling shot (as abandoned buildings usually are). the traces of occupancy are an odd thing. to all of a sudden realize an inhabitant of such a place where previously you had seen none, is a bit rattling.
if its there to give me an unpleasant feeling u have done a good job
yes. yes it is. thanks.
love it...very creepy feel. well done!
Nice artistic interpretation on this challenge.

kinda scary. :) a touch out of focus. My eye is led to the extremely white part, almost making me miss the person in the back. Maybe a little levels to lessen that. |
