Unique shot in this challenge.
Amazing at what paint looks like when we really look closely at it without being distracted by everything else in life.
Nicely done!

This looks strange to me - what is the abandoned building part? Is that a spider in the lower right quadrant? I think the problem might be that the color of the peeling paint is too vibrant, which negates the sense of abandonment to be portrayed.

The white stuff at the top right either needs to be in the picture more or not at all, it detracts from the interesting texture. Croping closer to the bug, if that is a bug, would help a lot.

I can't understand what this is, but doesn't look like an abandoned building... is that a spider in the right low corner?

Oh - paint chips. I had to look twice to figure this out. Very nice twist on the challenge - 8

Not much of a building. I can't tell what I'm looking at. Your focus appears to be at the top of the picture instead of center. It's a unique one.

spider and all. Honestly, this is a good concept but since there is no context (say the rest of the building or at least part of it) I have a hard time relating to the image. Its really interesting though - I'd like to see more.

What is it? Half-burned nylon? Bizarre cake icing? Peeling paint? And where does the building come into play? This shot is too much of a macro for me - and unfortunately, most buildings don't play well as macros.
