Would have gone well in a road-signs challenge... but I think it could use a bit more contrast |

interesting image. don't know if that's the strongest composition for your subject or not, though. it's a bit too centered, and there's really nothing to the left or right to either contribute to it or to balance it out. the bw treatment is a nice touch, and i do like how it doesn't feel over-processed. hope this does well for you. good luck! |

B&W is well done but I don't find the subject very interesting. |

I think black and white was a good choice and it`s in good focus, but i don`t think you will score to highly. Good luck |

This would have been better (IMO) if the sign was better lit |

I'll bet a selective desat would have worked well here. |

tree looks over sharpend the sign itself is in shadow
so it is difficult to understand the intent of the image |

interesting sign but not a pic that people would buy or put on their wall |

Im not sure if I like your composition. Are there too many distracting elements? if the background contributed and Idea of where you wanted to enter it would make more sense. Also the black and whit conversion has left the sign gray and the tree (and brick post) with more contrast and therefore it draws more attention. Is that what you intended? are you down playing the sign in favor of the neighborhood |
