Technically very nice, hard for me to fault. A little shy on the wow factor. One of the few times I've felt a drop shadow framing was working FOR the image. Good show. |

The lighting here is great. and this is one of my favourites for this challenge. My only nit pick would be the rather styleised border, which for me detract from the image. |

Simple & effective. Texture of the paper really helps. Not over keen on the boarder, but does detract from a stunning image. Bumping up on 2nd pass. |

I think I've seen a picture with a similar technique here already. You did a good job, the different brightness levels come out well. For me, the composition is too based on the diagonals, too symmetric, but on the other hand, that fits the more or less regular spiral. Your border is interesting because it goes into the same direction as your main idea for the photo. It would look much nicer without the thin black line every picture has on DPC, for example on a pure white background.
Well done, creative, good execution, not overedited. 10. |

Glowing paper, terrible border. Don't use borders that take viewer's eye away from the photo. |

Great shot. In a simplistic way, you've managed to creat a very good shot of what it seems almost a paper rose. Good quality, definition and lighting effects. Well done. |
