Having seen some fantastic shots on DPC, I thought I would have a go myself at the 'water drop' shot. Although I caught some more typical shots, I thought I would enter this one purely because I think it is a more interesting shot.

Some minor levels adjustment, nothing more.

I appreciate the comments, thanks. I entered this picture due to the abstract image it portrays, rather than the more typical water drop shot. I did take some more regular pictures of drops as you can see here.

I hope you like these, I certainly enjoyed taking them.

I like this shot, esp the various colour tones in the water which make a lovely abstract image.

I've spent AGES looking at this! really nicely done, a little too busy, but really nice

A very good attempt at the classic waterdrop photograph. Unfortunately the background is in conflict with the textures in the water and something just does not quite work here.

too busy - no real obvious subject

i think i would like this much more with different colors. there is just something about the colors and lighting here that makes this feel less of a photograph and more of a piece of art. maybe that's what you intended, but, as is, it doesn't really do anything for me.

fitting title but still too busy for my tastes...

The main drop (the fall to chaos... subject) IMO is too small and hidden due to the complexity of the background colors. Excellent focus and water action shot though.

Lovely colors, good patterns. However, there is quite a lot going on in this image and it might be even better if you cropped down to a center of interest.

Confusing, but that was intended :) Well timed, and the picture portrays chaos indeed. I like the blue-to-red transition from bottom to top.

There is no main subject in this image. Everything seems to fade into the chaotic background.

Not a bad attempt but there is way too much going on in this frame for my taste, the backround draws too much attention and frankly I had to look for the waterdrop. I would try to keep it more simple next time, IMHO.
