 Taken early evening when the moon and sun were both visible.

Did very little to the photo - cropped it, made it b&w, and sharpened the image.

I like the trees in this shot, but I think a touch more contrast would've helped it. Def. minimalism! :) Nice.

Just getting around to commenting on the last last bunch in this challenge. The idea is compelling but I'd like to see it in color. A little noise but not too distracting. Good job.

Almost has an asian silk painting feeling to it. Just needs some japanese writing on it. good job.

this has an asian style to it, which is nice, but the image is sharpenned to much, and the grey is not that appealing. Also, the moon is way out of focus. 4

A difficult image to comment on really, it has simplicity and is minimal, but the elegance I associate with minimalism is lacking

Elegant, and a nice use of black and white for effect. Unfortunately, I'm holding the topic of Minimalism to mean that there really should be a single, obvious point of focus, and since my eye was drawn first to the plant before I realized you meant the focus to be the moon, I'm docking points accordingly. Also, the noise is odd and irregular, leaving a couple dark specks in the center I *think* are noise, but am not sure, and the edge of the moon is ragged from it as well.
