The sensor grain is a bit distracting.I think that I would have preferred this shot without the moon. I seldom like shots which include the moon, since it always looks too small in photographs unless it's the only item in the picture.

This is probably just me, but I would have rather just seen the moon in this shot. 5 |

I like that gradient sky, it's almost as if it is day below and night above. Cool. |

Meets the challenge. Would have scored higher, but it's a bit grainy. I like the B&W. |

Grainy gradient distracts. Good composition. |

I like the tones in the sky a lot and find the picture to be pleasing overall. The composition works very well for me but I donĂ¢€™t think the scene is strong enough to really hold my attention for very long. |

The gradient in the sky really helps this image, brings the eye toward the top. |

Almost too minimalist, there seems to be no subject here |

INteresting, the high film speed gives it a nice effect on this one, 6 |

Strong work to retain that ddetail in the moon; and I like also that your chosen landscape is so very plain. I don't like, for this challenge, the enormous graininess of the sky, however: it seems to go against the 'full control' element that is so often a hallmark of minimalism. But it's an interesting approach, certainly. |

I think it would have been better with a more interesting landscape. |

although the landscape adds interest to the shot it takes away from what i think you wanted the subject to be..... |

This is a nice image. I really like the fact that you shot this image in black and white. It adds contrast. I also like where you positioned the moon in your photograph. Nice work. |

This is great! This is just what I had in my mind for a "mimimalism" picture. B/W is a good choice here. Just a little mottled for my likes, but not in an ugly way. It looks natural and not over processed. 7 |
