i would suggest a tiny back-light, maybe just on one side, to separate it from the background

Sorry. I do not believe this meets the challenge criteria. Its a beautiful photo. Even though the broach is yellow, Im not so sure it is the strongest image in this photo.

My eye seems drawn to the face more than the jewerly, probably because of the hot spots. Because of that, IMO it doesn't meet the challenge.

interesting....my eye is first drawn to the highlight in the statue tho, not the flower jewelry. Makes it hard for me to say that the dominant subject is the trinket.

This would have been perfect for the jewelry ad challenge! It's also perfect for this one...beautiful light. The way the little yellow piece of jewelry pops against the cool dark background and sculpture is really nice. Very nicely done.
